ROGER and Brian plan to tour!

Brian, Paul and RogerMany speculations have been made and I was so aware of that... but finally it happened that they stated they do a tour with a new singer! Who they chosen? PAUL RODGERS! And I am not that happy to tell you, he has a rather bluesy style to himself, so what about Queen songs??? I just cannot believe, and I should be so happy to know the two are going to play together, live, Germany... Europe... BUT... but I'm not! So many great singers, some who would suit better... besides - as they always say: no-one's to replace Freddie!!! So better not to make better sth what is already great! What a shame they do not make their own solo albums, solo tours... or play together, but NOT under the 'Queen' name!!! I know they call it 'Queen and Paul Rodgers 2005 tour' but still...

I know I shouldn't be against, as I just love the music the two men do, but I fell just... disappointed! I so much would like to hear them, see them... but have no happiness in hearing Paul (sorry, but you mr. are for your own music, not Queen).

Some said they are going to tour America also, but it was said today that this is not going to be. The tour starts March 19th, 2005 at Fancourt (46664 South Africa). They will tour Europe. More news when we have it. Go and have a look at Mr. Paul Rodgers' site: >>

ROGER in Kerrang!

Issue 1034 - 04 Dec 04

p14 WE WILL SHOCK YOU

QUEEN drummer Roger Taylor has declared himself unimpressed with the Electric Six's video for their cover of 'Radio Ga Ga'. Electric Six frontman Dick Valentine had revealed to Kerrang! that he hoped the surviving members of Queen would see the funny side to the video, which sees a Spandex-clad Valentine dancing on the late Freddie Mercury's grave. "There was about a 10-second window when we thought we'd offend everybody," admitted Valentine, "but at the end of the day, you go for it and you get a restraining order if needs be." Kerrang! sent the video to Taylor who penned the hit song. "How brave," he responded after viewing it. "Thanks for the money." Somehow we don't think he'll be seeing much in the way of royalties..
